• The 9th edition of the Global Technology Summit (GTS) began in New Delhi on April 10, 2025.
• Organized annually, GTS is India’s flagship event on technology and geopolitics.
• The theme for this year is “Sambhavna”, a Sanskrit word meaning “possibilities”.
• It aims to explore how emerging technologies can promote inclusive growth, improve digital governance, and enhance global cooperation.

Key Highlights of the 2025 Summit:

• The three-day summit (April 10–12) will include 40+ public sessions, such as:
  • Keynote speeches,
  • Ministerial-level conversations,
  • Expert panels, and
  • Strategic dialogues.
• Over 150 speakers from 40+ countries will participate.
• Topics range from artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure to tech regulations and global tech governance.
• It provides a platform for government officials, tech leaders, academics, and startups to shape the future of global technology.

Youth Inclusion & Global Collaboration

• A special feature this year is the GTS Young Ambassadors Program.
• It involves students and young professionals from across India in key policy discussions.
• Young voices will contribute on themes like responsible AI, digital futures, and international tech norms.
