1. Kerala Launches HAWK for Wildlife Offence Management

Kerala has launched HAWK — Hostile Activity Watch Kernel, India’s first judiciary-integrated digital wildlife offence management system. The platform links forest offence records with the District Court Management System through digital integration.

HAWK will help track wildlife offence cases from preliminary reporting to court proceedings and final verdicts. It can improve prosecution, reduce dependence on physical files, identify repeat offenders and strengthen enforcement under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.

2. India–Indonesia 8th Joint Commission Meeting Held in New Delhi

India and Indonesia held their 8th Joint Commission Meeting in New Delhi. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono reviewed bilateral cooperation under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
