INDIA RUSSIA SIGNED THE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COOPERATION PLAN 2025 -2026.

Why in the news?

India and Russia inked a crucial working plan covering areas of cooperation in the sector of management of calamities such as space observation, group management and management training for specialists.

Key Areas of Discussion:

  • The meeting was thus centred on leveraging on space monitoring technologies in risk assessment as well as in calamity preparedness.
  • The sharing of experiences in handling emergencies especially the bigger disasters was also considered.
  • Some of the recommendations that were made when it comes to the future cooperation include the cooperation in training fire and rescue specialists.

India and Russia on the level of Emergency Management:
