INCOIS WARNS OF SWELL WAVES HITTING COASTAL AREAS THIS WEEKEND

  • Warns of high-energy swell waves expected over the weekend, urging suspension of operational and recreational activities near beaches.
  • Fishermen and coastal residents cautioned about possible surge of waves, especially in low-lying areas.
  • Small vessels advised against plying nearshore, and boats suggested to anchor at a safe distance from each other to prevent damage.
