1. Census 2027 Enters Digital Self-Enumeration Phase

India’s Census 2027 entered an important digital phase with the commencement of self-enumeration in Ladakh from 17 August 2026. Residents have been provided an opportunity to submit their household and demographic information online until 31 August 2026.
