SPACE STARTUPS WANT GOVERNMENT TO IMPLEMENT A DIGITAL PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE (DPI)
Why in news?
Space startups such as GalaxEye Space, Dhruva Space and Pixxel have called on the government to implement a digital public infrastructure (DPI) for earth observation-based geospatial analytics.
About Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) :
- DPI constitutes a collection of shared digital systems aimed at propelling development, inclusion, innovation, trust, competition, and upholding human rights and freedoms.
