 Selection Process:

Selection Process and Weightage

Candidates will be selected based on:

  1. 12th Board Marks (10 Marks)

  • Example:
    • 85% in 12th = 8.5 marks
    • 93% in 12th = 9.3 marks
    • 97% in 12th = 9.7 marks
  1. Interview (10 Marks)

  • Final round to assess the candidate’s personality, analytical skills, and communication.

 

  1. Written Exam (100 Marks) – Consisting of:

     

  2. Objective Section (50 Marks)
  • 50 questions, each carrying 1 mark
  • Negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer
  1. Descriptive Section (40 Marks)
  • 12 questions given, candidates must attempt 8
  • Each question carries 5 marks
  • (8× 5 = 40 marks)
  1. Fill in the Blanks (10 Marks)
  • 10 questions, each carrying 1 mark

Note: Scores obtained out of 100 marks will be proportionally converted to 80 marks for final merit calculation.

Final Score (out of 80) = (Marks obtained ÷ 100) × 80
