1. Ladakh Approves India’s First Guided High-Altitude Wildlife Safari

Ladakh has approved India’s first guided high-altitude wildlife safari, covering snow-leopard habitats, bird-watching trails and other ecologically significant landscapes.

The safari will include areas around Hemis National Park, Changthang and other protected regions of Ladakh. The initiative aims to promote responsible nature tourism while generating livelihood opportunities for local communities.
