Amit Shah to Launch BHARATPOL Portal on January 7

The BHARATPOL portal will streamline international police cooperation and enhance real-time access to assistance for Indian law enforcement, strengthening efforts to combat transnational crimes like cybercrime, drug trafficking, and human trafficking.
Event Details:
- Shri Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, will launch the BHARATPOL portal developed by the CBI on January 7, 2025, in New Delhi.
- The event will take place at Bharat Mandapam.
- Shri Amit Shah will also present Police Medals to 35 CBI officers for their distinguished service and excellence in investigation.
Impact on Law Enforcement:
- As India’s National Central Bureau (NCB) for INTERPOL, the CBI facilitates international cooperation in criminal matters.
- The portal will transform the way police officers interact with international law enforcement, making communication quicker and more efficient.
