Centre Signs Historic Tripartite MoU with Assam and Nagaland for Oil and Gas Exploration
The Central Government has signed a historic tripartite Memorandum of Understanding with the Governments of Assam and Nagaland to boost oil and gas exploration in the Northeast. World Bank Projects India’s GDP Growth at 6.6% for FY 2026–27

16 Killed in Rawalakot Firing in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir
In Rawalakot, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, 16 people were reportedly killed and 37 injured after the Pakistani army allegedly opened fire on unarmed protesters. The protesters were demanding basic rights and essential supplies.
