NBCC Limited has invited bids to hire an agency for operating Bharat Vandana Park in Dwarka Sector 20, which is 87% complete. The park is envisioned as a mini-India, showcasing replicas of monuments from across Indian states, and will serve as a hub for eco-tourism initiatives.

  • Bharat Vandana Park is being developed by NBCC in Dwarka Sector 20, Delhi.
  • Spread over 220 acres with an estimated cost of ₹524 crore.
  • Construction is 87% complete, with completion targeted by end of 2025.
  • Initial deadlines were delayed due to Covid-19, environmental clearance issues, and pylon bridge height concerns.
  • The pylon bridge construction is now complete, incorporating innovative 3D printing technology in some aspects of its design.

Key Features and Attractions

  • Inspired by a lotus flower, the park will have 9 petal-shaped zones for eco-tourism, culture, recreation, etc.
  • Features 10 thematic zones, including Pushpa Kriti Sarovar, meditation gardens, adventure parks, and lake-view restaurants.
  • Over 36 replicas of iconic monuments such as Charminar, Sun Temple, Hawa Mahal, Ajanta-Ellora caves, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
  • Includes sky bridges, toy trains, boating canals, light shows, zip-lining, and food plazas.
  • A special animal animatronics zoo and an elevated restaurant are also part of the attractions.
