International Gita Mahotsav 2024
Why in the News?
- Recently Gita Quiz was launched as part of the International Gita Mahotsav 2024 (IGM)
- Partner State: Odisha is the partner state for IGM 2024, adding significance to the event.
- Objectives: The quiz aims to educate the youth about the Gita and Mahabharata, encouraging participants to explore these texts and foster discussions.
- Format and Rewards:
- Two categories: public and student.
- Daily, 20 winners in each category win Rs 500
- Final winners at the end of the quiz (25 from each category) will receive Rs 1,000 each, including 10 from Haryana, 10 from other states, and 5 from Odisha.
- Top motivators will also receive monetary prizes and certificates.
- Focus on Students: Increased participation from school students with doubled daily winners and improved question quality to engage participants.
International Gita Mahotsav 2024 (IGM)
