World Test Championship Final 2023

News: At The Oval, Australia defeated India in the World Test Championship championship game by a score of 209 runs.

After New Zealand, Australia became the second team to earn the coveted Mace.

India has now lost two finals in a row in the WTC.

Nine teams play in the World Test Championship, a two-year cricket competition, for the title of uncontested World Test champion.

Six series are played by each side, three at home and three away.

For the recently finished 2nd edition, the scoring system has been updated; each Test match now offers 12 points for a win, four points for a draw, and six points for a tie.

The proportion of possible points gathered will be used to establish the rankings, allowing comparisons between clubs regardless of the quantity of matches played.
