Introduction:
MyGov is a citizen engagement platform launched in 2014.Its objective is to provide a platform for the citizens to engage in policy making. It is a part of Digital India corporation. The public welfare is the central idea behind this project. The application of information and communication technology into this is termed as E-governance.
Body:
E-governance: It is the method of adopting the internet services in providing the governance. Various systems will be integrated with one another enabling faster processes and transparency.
MyGov platform enables the registered users to provide ideas in the field of governance. It works on crowdsourcing. Logos and taglines have been taken from the users for various projects. Other than this, various constructive opinions were also collected in drafting the schemes like National Education Policy.
