Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (ULPIN

News: According to a recent statement from the Rural Development Ministry, 26 states and union territories have so far accepted ULPIN.

The Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) includes the Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (ULPIN).

A land parcel is given a 14-digit identifying number called a ULPIN or Bhu-Aadhar.

Every surveyed parcel of land will be identified specifically, preventing land fraud, especially in rural India where land records are disputed and out-of-date.

The identification, which is based on the land parcel’s longitude and latitude coordinates, is made possible by thorough surveys and georeferenced cadastral maps.

It intends to gather all information relating to various properties from across the nation.

A land parcel is assigned a ULPIN, also known as a Bhu-Aadhar, which is a 14-digit identification number.

Land fraud will be prevented by the precise identification of each surveyed parcel of land, which is especially important in rural India where outdated and disputed land records are present.

Thorough surveys and georeferenced cadastral maps enable the identification, which is based on the longitude and latitude coordinates of the land parcel.

It plans to compile all data pertaining to different properties from across the country.
