About Tejas Aircraft Crash in Jaisalmer:
- A Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed during an operational training sortie near Jaisalmer.
- This marks the first crash of the indigenous jet since its maiden flight in 2001.
- The pilot ejected safely, and a Court of Inquiry has been initiated to determine the cause of the incident. The crash occurred during the tri-Service firepower demonstration exercise Bharat Shakti in Pokhran.
