Government online market (GeM)

GeM is an online marketplace that was established in 2016 to make it easier for government agencies, departments, public sector businesses (PSU), and other entities to purchase products and services.

It is intended to serve as India’s national procurement portal.

With technical assistance from the National e-governance Division, the Directorate General of Supply and Disposals (Ministry of Trade and Industry) created this portal (Ministry of Electronic and Information Technology)
