Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Thailand from April 3rd for the 6th BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok. The summit, themed “Prosperous, Resilient, and Open BIMSTEC,” focuses on regional cooperation and shared security and development challenges.
Overview of the 6th BIMSTEC Summit:
- The 6th Summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) is scheduled for 4th April in Bangkok, Thailand.
- The theme of the summit is “Prosperous, Resilient, and Open BIMSTEC,” focusing on regional cooperation and development.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake a two-day visit to Thailand from 3rd April to attend the summit.
Objectives and Key Agendas:
- The summit aims to strengthen collaboration among BIMSTEC member states to address common security and developmental challenges.
