  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Jamui, Bihar, today to commemorate Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, honouring the tribal leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda as part of his 150th birth anniversary celebrations.

    • Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh: Led grain distribution to the poor in Chhattisgarh.
    • Shri Alluri Seetha Ram Raju: Led Rampa Rebellion in Andhra Pradesh.
    • Rani Gaidinliu: Naga leader, spread Gandhiji’s message in Manipur.
    • Sidhu and Kanhu Murmu: Led the 1855 Santhal Rebellion against British rule.
