Paris Diamond League 2023

News: Murali Sreeshankar, an Indian long jumper, finished third in the Paris Diamond League.

On Saturday, Murali Sreeshankar placed third in the men’s long jump competition at the Paris Diamond League 2023 athletics in France with an outstanding 8.09m attempt.

The Diamond League is an elite yearly international athletics series that consists of numerous track and field events hosted in various cities throughout the world. It was founded in 2010 and is organised by the World Athletics organisation.

The best athletes in the world compete in events like sprints, jumps, throws, and middle-distance races. The first Indian to triumph in a Diamond League competition was Neeraj Chopra.
