National Service Scheme Special Camp Report 2023
The National Service Scheme (NSS) camp is organized by the Universal School of Administration with a vision for personality development of students through community service and development of rural areas of India.
The NSS unit has been introduced in the college with the optimism of establishing a sense of social responsibility in the students and inculcating the values of self-discipline and selfless dedication to the development of the community.As part of NSS activities, the Universal School of Administration has organized a programme from July 21 to 27, 2023 under chunchanakuppe grama panchayat limits.A 7-day camp was held in Ketohalli village. We, as part of the NSS committee, have various in the village to promote interaction with the villagers And we have used the NSS platform to create awareness on various social issues.
The camp was started and the NSS camp officer guided – Dr. Ramakrishna Universal School of Administration.
The camp was started with physical exercise in the morning on all 7 days
(Yoga, breathing exercises, aerobics, jumbo dance). All NSS volunteers including the camp officer participated enthusiastically there.

21st July 2023
The opening ceremony
For the inauguration of the special camp in Ketohalli village, we have invited the famous personalities of the village. The opening ceremony began with the reception of the guests. This was followed by a watering unit, introduction and felicitation of the chief guests. He presented the vision, mission and main objective of the NSS camp
Ramakrishna is the programme officer of the NSS unit of the Universal School of Administration. The event continued with various speeches given by the guests present at the event. Inauguration The ceremony concluded with the singing of the NSS anthem.

All the villagers, school children were engaged in these recreational activities, many games like musical chairs, dance, etc. were played. All these activities took place at the Government Senior School in Ketohalli.

Shramdaana
The venue of the camp was shifted to Sri Veerabhadraswamy Temple at Ketohalli village near Ramohalli.
NSS volunteers had cleaned the temple premises and created a peaceful atmosphere around the temple. This helped many devotees of the temple.

25th July 2023
Regular physical exercises with Shri Dayanand Sagar Yoga expert
The session was about the importance of yoga and volunteers were educated from various breads of cows across India and asked some questions and by gifting them books to enhance their knowledge. Appreciated. He practiced a dance that demonstrated respect, devotion and patriotism towards India.

The main objective of the speech was to make the volunteers service-oriented towards India and realise their responsibility towards nation building in order to achieve the unity and integrity of India.

Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony of the special camp was held on 27/08/2023 at 6.30 pm. Shri Sunil, Shri Vikas M, Smt. Natasha, Smt. Chandana summarized all the activities and events carried out in the 7-day special camp. Dr. Ramakrishna – Programme Officer, NSS Unit. All the panchayat members of Ketohalli village expressed their views about our NSS volunteers and the activities carried out in the 7-day camp. All the guests have appreciated our NSS volunteers and discipline during the 7-day camp.
Fire fighting camp and recreational activities
All NSS volunteers had placed a fire camp at the end of the camp and everyone participated in several cultural activities like singing, dancing, poems etc.
