About Joynagar Moa:

  • The moais, which are thought to have been created in 1904, are composed of fragrant khoi, or popped rice, which is combined with raisins, cashew nuts, jaggery, and sugar.
  • It only keeps for five days without refrigeration, which is a limited shelf life.
  • Due to its great perishability, it has been unable to be exported for decades; very limited exports just started in 2020.
