Tourism in India is a rapidly growing sector. It contributes to around 10% of our GDP. It is also estimated that 8% of employment is generated by tourism sector. Ministry of tourism has recently prepared a draft for improving tourism in India.

The aim is to identify, dversify, develop & promote the niche tourism in India. India’s tourism can be considered as seasonal. But, this initiative will make India a tourism destination all 365 days of the year. It also focuses on repeat visits by tourists.

Also, some remote places are known for providing medical services at a very low cost along with yoga and other practices.
