- Lt Gen Dwivedi is the senior-most officer in the Army, previously Northern Army Commander.
- Commissioned into the Infantry (Jammu & Kashmir Rifles) on December 15,
- His service includes various command, staff, instructional, and foreign appointments.
- Alumnus of Sainik School Rewa, National Defence College, and US Army War College.
- Holds an MPhil in Defence and Management Studies and two Master’s degrees in Strategic Studies and Military Science.
- Recognized as a ‘Distinguished Fellow’ at the the United States Army War College (USAWC).
