  • The Indian Navy is set to conduct Sea Vigil-24, the fourth edition of India’s national-level coastal defence exercise, on November 20-21, 2024.
  • Established in 2018 after the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Sea Vigil assesses and strengthens India’s coastal security framework by identifying and addressing any vulnerabilities.
  • This year’s exercise includes participation from six Ministries and 21 agencies, emphasising the protection of critical coastal assets such as ports, oil rigs, Single Point Moorings, Cable Landing Points, and other infrastructure.
