India-France-UAE Trilateral Cooperation Initiative
News: India has recently increased its two-way trade with the UAE. Business contacts have soared thanks to CEPA and the UAE’s Golden Visa programme (extension). However, India and France have a close defence relationship. The Indian military uses French-made equipment, including fighter jets and drones. India is initiating the Trilateral Cooperation Initiative with the nations to deepen the ties.
- As part of the effort, the nations will collaborate to plan and carry out “ENERGY PROJECTS”. The projects will centre on biodiversity preservation, climate change, and energy conservation. The Indian Ocean Region is the main area of attention.
- The project offers a fantastic venue for collaboration on international concerns, with India hosting the G20 and the UAE hosting COP-28. The initiative will unite organisations and parties involved in sustainable project development. The nations also have the chance to coordinate their technological, social, and economic strategies.
- The nations consented to collaborate under the auspices of this expedition. To inspire Indians to save the environment, the Mission LiFe project was started. The implementation period is from 2022 to 2027. They will also work on the circular economy.
- The Indian Ocean Rim Association will also provide assistance to the nations. and request participation from other nations in the project.
