About Chabahar Port :

  • Ports: Shahid Kalantari (developed in 1980s) and Shahid Beheshti
  • Proximity to Gwadar Port: Just 170 km from China-operated Gwadar port in Pakistan.
International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC):

  • The International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) is a multi-modal transportation route.
  • It connects the Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf to the Caspian Sea through Iran.
