- Engage global stakeholders, particularly from the Global South.
India’s Involvement:
- Significant due to its strategic partnership with Russia, leadership in BRICS and SCO, and role in the Global South.
- Swiss and Ukrainian officials prioritize India’s participation.
Participants and Absence:
- 50 out of 160 invited countries confirmed attendance: EU nations, NATO members, G-7, U.S. allies.
- Brazil and South Africa declined; Russia was not invited.
