For Sagar, securing a spot at RDC 2023 was a dream come true. The highlight? Marching down Kartavyapath as part of the Republic Day Parade in the presence of India’s President and Prime Minister.

Adding to this achievement, he was chosen to perform at the Prime Minister’s residence as part of the All India Cultural Team—an unforgettable moment of pride and honor.

Beyond the parade, RDC offered Sagar invaluable opportunities to interact with top military officials, including the Chiefs of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS). These experiences provided deep leadership insights and reinforced his commitment to national service.

 

Representing India on a Global Platform: The Youth Exchange Program 🌍

After excelling at RDC, Sagar’s journey continued. His stellar performance earned him a coveted spot in the Youth Exchange Program (YEP)—a prestigious initiative where selected NCC cadets travel abroad to represent India.

Sagar’s YEP adventure began on July 25th in Delhi, followed by his arrival in Scotland on August 5th. More than just travel, this was an experience of cultural exchange, leadership development, and international collaboration.

During his time in the UK, Sagar:
