Exercise Cope India
News: Next week will see the start of the India-US “Cope India” air drill. At the Kalaikunda airfield in West Bengal, an exercise with the US Air Force (USAF) will get underway.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) and the United States Air Force are participating in a bilateral joint drill. (USAF).
Cope India was founded in 2004 as a combatant development programme.
In addition to combat training exercises, the exercise now includes subject matter expert exchanges, air mobility training, airdrop training, and large-force exercises.
The exercise will further improve the two air forces’ operational capacity and interoperability.
The exercise’s most recent iteration took place in 2019.
