  • ‘Desert Cyclone 2024’, an Indo-UAE joint military exercise, is set to kick off in Rajasthan on 2nd of January, 2024.
  • By studying and exchanging best practices in urban operations, the two-week drill seeks to improve interoperability.
  • The goal of the two-week exercise is to improve interoperability through the acquisition and exchange of optimal urban operations practices.
  • The Ministry of External Affairs stated that possible areas of bilateral cooperation in the field of defense include joint military exercises, especially naval ones, the development and manufacture of defense equipment, the sharing of doctrines and strategy information, technical assistance with regard to the Intermediate Jet Trainer, and more.
