Why in News ?

The Delhi government has introduced the Delhi School Education (Transparency in Fixation and Regulation of Fees) Bill, 2025, a new fee regulation bill aiming to bring all government and private schools under a uniform fee regulation framework, ending selective oversight based on the DDA land clause.

Bill Provisions and Government Stand:

  • Wider scope: Extends fee regulation from 350 DDA land clause schools to all schools in Delhi, addressing private school fees concerns.
