🇮🇳 Jyotiba Phule Jayanti: Legacy of Social Reform

India commemorated the birth anniversary of Jyotiba Phule (1827–1890), a pioneering anti-caste reformer and champion of women’s education. Founder of the Satyashodhak Samaj, Phule worked towards social equality, education for marginalized communities, and eradication of caste discrimination. The day saw nationwide tributes emphasizing his enduring relevance in social justice discourse.


Telangana Declared Naxal-Free: Internal Security Milestone

Telangana has officially been declared Naxal-free following the surrender of 42 cadres linked to CPI (Maoist). The dismantling of the State Committee marks a significant blow to Left-Wing Extremism. Between 2024–2026, a total of 761 surrenders were recorded, alongside recovery of arms and removal of IEDs. This development weakens the broader Red Corridor and reflects the effectiveness of combined security and development strategies.

Artemis II crew safely returned after a record lunar flyby, marking humanity’s first crewed Moon mission in nearly 50 years. The mission captured unprecedented views of the Moon’s far side and a solar eclipse, demonstrating advancements in deep-space exploration and safe re-entry systems.
