Bharat Tech Triumph Program to Showcase Indian Gaming Talent
Why in the News?
The Bharat Tech Triumph Program has been launched to promote India’s gaming industry globally. Organized by the Interactive Entertainment and Innovation Council with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, it will culminate at WAVES and the Game Developers Conference 2025.
Objectives of the Bharat Tech Triumph Program :
- The Bharat Tech Triumph Program has been launched to support and showcase India’s gaming industry
- The initiative is part of the Create in India Challenge – Season One and focuses on promoting Indian gaming talent.
- Organized by the Interactive Entertainment and Innovation Council in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Contest Stages & Key Dates:
- February 20, 2025 – Game Submission & Registration opens for participants.
- February 23, 2025 – Expert evaluation and shortlisting of candidates for mentorship.
- February 26, 2025 – Grand Finale results announced, selecting the top winners.
- March 5, 2025 – Winners prepare for international showcase events.
Global Exposure & Industry Impact
- Finalists will present their projects at the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) and the India Pavilion at the Game Developers Conference 2025.
- The program aims to position India as a global leader in gaming and digital entertainment.
- Supported by industry sponsors and government initiatives, it provides a platform for innovation, networking, and global recognition.
