  • Sudanese paramilitary forces conducted an assault on a village south of Khartoum, resulting in 25 deaths and 200 injuries, according to a local activists’ committee.
  • The attack targeted the village of Um Adam, located approximately 150 km south of Khartoum, on Saturday.
  • The Rapid Support Forces (RSF), led by former deputy Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, allegedly carried out the assault, part of the ongoing conflict between the military, led by Army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the RSF, which began in April last year.
