🔰 About the Speaker
Dr. S.R. Keshava is Professor of Economics at PG Department of Economics, Bangalore University, Bangalore 560056. At present, he is the Technical Committee member of the Karnataka Evaluation Authority (KEA), Government of Karnataka. Dr. Keshava has M.A., M. Phil and Ph.D. degree in Economics and M.B.A., M.Phil. Degree in Management. He is specialized in Development, Public and Indian Economics.
Dr. Keshava is a well-received teacher, researcher, and panelist on economic issues in television channels. He has written 9 books and edited three books which include Economics from new-age publications, New Delhi, Amartya Sen, Baba Amate and JC Kumarappa from Prasaranga, BU, Prof B. Krishanappa from Udaya Banu Kala Sanga and a satire titled Dead, but Still Alive! He was a core committee member to evolve the methodology for Green GSDP methodology for Karnataka. Please refer to Annexure 2 for more details.
