Universal Group of Institutions to Celebrate 80th Independence Day

Universal Group of Institutions, Bengaluru, will celebrate the 80th Independence Day of India on 15 August 2026 at 8:00 AM at the Open Ground, UGI Campus.

The programme will be presided over by Mr. R. Upendra Shetty, Chairman, Universal Group of Institutions. Lt. Col. Shrinivas Rao (Retd.), Army Officer and former SBI Officer, will grace the occasion as the Guest Speaker.

The celebration will also be honoured by Neeraj Gagan Banger, UGI Alumnus and UPSC CAPF (AC) 2025 AIR 226, Assistant Commandant – Group ‘A’, and Havildar Thangavel M, NCC Instructor, 2 Karnataka Battalion.

The event will bring together the management, principal, staff, students and parents in a spirit of patriotism, unity and national pride while remembering the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters.
