The Dubai Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India celebrated CA Day with the message of resilience, professional ethics and India–UAE partnership. The theme of the programme was “The Story of Comebacks.”
CA Day is celebrated every year on 1 July to mark the establishment of ICAI in 1949. ICAI has played an important role in strengthening auditing, taxation, financial discipline and corporate governance in India.

The Dubai event highlighted the contribution of Indian Chartered Accountants to the UAE’s financial and business sectors. They support transparency, compliance, auditing, taxation and financial planning in various companies and institutions.

The programme also stressed that even in the age of artificial intelligence, trust and ethics remain very important. AI can perform routine accounting tasks, but it cannot replace human judgement, responsibility and integrity.
Overall, the CA Day celebration in Dubai showcased the strength of Indian professionals, the growing India–UAE relationship and the importance of financial trust in a modern economy.
