1. Tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar

India marked the 136th birth anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar, paying tribute to his monumental role in drafting the Constitution and championing social justice. His contributions to equality, legal reform, and inclusive governance continue to shape modern India. He was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1990.


2. Delhi–Dehradun Economic Corridor Boost

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the 213-km Delhi–Dehradun Economic Corridor. The project is expected to reduce travel time to approximately 2.5 hours, enhance regional connectivity, and integrate advanced infrastructure systems, including dedicated wildlife protection measures.


3. Pre-Primary Education Under RTE Review

The Supreme Court of India has sought responses from the Centre and states regarding the inclusion of pre-primary education under the Right to Education Act. This move aligns with the implementation goals of the National Education Policy 2020, aiming to strengthen foundational learning.
