Why in News ?

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has arrived at Al Dhafra Air Base, UAE, to join the multinational Exercise Desert Flag-10. The exercise aims to strengthen combat readiness, operational cooperation, and knowledge sharing with global air forces, starting April 21.

Indian Air Force’s Participation:

  • The IAF contingent reached Al Dhafra Air Base in UAE to take part in the drills.

●      A multinational air combat exercise hosted by the United Arab Emirates Air Force.

●      Indian Air Force joins along with air forces from:

○       Australia, Bahrain, France, Germany, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Turkey, UAE, UK, and USA.

●      The exercise involves complex and diverse fighter jet engagements and tactical scenarios.
