About the Health Services and Screenings Offered:
- The ‘One Health’ Pavilion at the 43rd India International Trade Fair in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, inaugurated by V.K. Paul, Member (Health), NITI Aayog, offers immersive health services.
- Free screenings under Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) for children include checks for height, weight, BMI, dental, eye, and ear health.
- Adults can access free tests for hemoglobin, blood pressure, and sugar levels, along with personalized diet and mental health counseling.
- The Universal Immunization Programme (UIP) stall highlights the U-WIN digital platform for vaccination, with 150 app downloads and parent-friendly features like booking slots and e-vaccination certificates.
- The National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO) stall provides health checks like BP, BMI, and sugar tests and encourages organ donation pledges.
Engagement Highlights and Activities:
- Screenings conducted so far include ~300 dental checks, 117 mental health sessions, 590 hemoglobin tests, 400 family planning counseling sessions, and 218 eye tests.
- Interactive street plays on TB, food safety, and vector-borne diseases are paired with cultural performances and magic shows to enhance awareness.
- The Gaming Zone features virtual reality games on human anatomy and health-themed quizzes, with visitors leaving messages on the ‘One Health’ Memory Wall.
