  • India, in collaboration with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), is hosting the Global Learning and Development Framework (GLDF) Results Management Training in New Delhi from November 19 to 22.
  • Organised by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) India, with support from the Japan Sports Agency (JSA) and the Japan Anti-Doping Agency (JADA), this initiative highlights India’s dedication to global sport integrity.

Focus Areas and Training Objectives:

  • The training aims to:
    • Standardise anti-doping practices globally.
    • Foster international collaboration among nations.
    • Strengthen the global sport integrity framework.
  • Sessions will focus on case management, adjudication processes, and the application of the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards.
  • This capacity-building initiative is part of WADA’s strategy to enhance the technical expertise of anti-doping professionals.

Global Participation and Significance:

  • Over 10 countries, including the Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, will participate alongside international organisations like the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) and the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
  • This landmark event underscores India’s role in advancing global anti-doping measures and fostering a clean sports environment, emphasising technical training and collaboration to combat doping effectively.
