Chandipura Virus Infection:

Resides in insect salivary glands, transmitted through bites.

Rapid disease progression with flu-like symptoms, leading to encephalitis and severe complications.

Treatment and Management:

No specific antiviral therapy or vaccine available.

Symptomatic management is crucial; mortality can occur rapidly after onset of severe symptoms.
