TRAGIC DEATHS DUE TO SPURIOUS LIQUOR IN TAMIL NADU
Why in the news?
Nine people, including a woman, died after consuming spurious liquor in Karunapuram, Kallakurichi district.Six died in Kallakurichi, three in Salem district.

- Previous Incidents:Last year, 22 people died in similar hooch tragedies in Villupuram and Chengalpattu districts.
