Why in the news?

  • The Supreme Court questioned the sanctity of the NEET-UG 2024 exam amid allegations of a paper leak, seeking answers from the Centre and NTA.
  • Despite demands for cancellation, the court allowed counseling to proceed and scheduled further hearings for July 8.

About National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET):
