About the Inauguration Event:

  • Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the newly constructed Nausena Bhawan in Delhi Cantonment, marking a significant milestone for the Indian Navy.
  • The event signifies the establishment of the Navy’s first independent headquarters in Delhi, consolidating operations previously spread across 13 different locations.
Key Features of Nausena Bhawan:

●   The building consists of three wings across four storeys, incorporating innovative construction technologies for efficiency and sustainability.

●   It includes energy and water conservation measures such as solar generation systems and advanced building materials, achieving a Green Rating IV.

About Indian Navy :
