●   Pancheshwar Multipurpose Project (PMP): Bi-national hydropower project on Mahakali River.

●   Covered under the integrated Mahakali Treaty between Nepal and India.

●   Equal-sized underground powerhouses (3240MW) to be built on each side.

●   Provides regulated water for irrigation and flood control downstream.

About Seti River:

●   Seti River: Left tributary of Trishuli River in western Nepal.

●   Sacred in Hinduism, worshipped as a form of Vishnu.

●   Cuts through Mahabharat range, vanishing into caves and tunnels in Pokhara.

●   Holds cultural and geographical importance in the region.
