RULES AND REGULATIONS  

  • The Latest FIDE Rules in force shall apply and the Swiss system will be followed.
  • Time Control: Each 15min. +5 Sec.
  • The first round will commence at 09.00 AM on 07-01-2024. The number of rounds and the round-wise
  • The schedule will be announced at the tournament venue.
  • Chess Sets and Clocks will be provided to all players; personal Sets and Clocks are not allowed.
  • Tiebreak: Buchholz tiebreak system will be applied. In case of tie, prizes will not be shared.
  • Chief Arbiter – Shripad KV
  • Organizers have the right to reject any entries without assigning any reason
  • The Chief Arbiter’s’ decisions’ shall be final and binding on all players concerned.
  • A proof Certificate must be produced for Children’s category prizes.
  • Entries close at 06.00 P.M on 05-01-2024. No entry will be entertained after 06.00 PM on 05-01-2024.
  • Strictly no Spot Entries.
  • E – certificate will be provided to all participants
  • Players must be present at the Prize Distribution to receive their prize, else it will be forfeited
  • Age Cut Off :

Under – 7 Born on or After 01.01.2017
Under – 9 Born on or After 01.01.2015
Under – 11 Born on or After 01.01.2013
Under – 13 Born on or After 01.01.2011
Under – 15 Born on or After 01.01.2009
Under – 19 Born on or After 01.01.2005
