  • Ahead of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for IITs and engineering colleges, the Education Ministry urges all states to promote the use of the newly launched SATHEE (Self Assessment Test and Help for Entrance Exams) portal.

What is SATHEE Portal?

SATHEE is a collaborative effort by the Ministry of Education and IIT-Kanpur, offers an open learning platform to students for free, eliminating financial barriers to exam preparation.

Features of SATHEE Portal

  • A 45-day crash course is available on SATHEE for aspirants to assess their exam readiness, featuring live and recorded lectures, expertly designed curriculum, and doubt-clearing sessions.
  • The platform, integrated with artificial intelligence (AI), hosts pan-India mock tests with the same format as the National Testing Agency’s JEE.

AI-Driven Customization and Inclusivity

  • SATHEE’s AI chatbot interacts with students, tailoring the learning experience to individual pacing and needs, aligning with the National Education Policy’s goal of inclusive, high-quality education.
  • To date, around 5,000 students have registered, with a target to reach one lakh students.

Future Plans and Multilingual Accessibility

  • The portal plans to extend courses for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) preparation in line with the upcoming exam in May.
  • SATHEE provides digital learning materials in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Odia, and Telugu, promoting accessibility across diverse linguistic backgrounds.
