Vaccine For Shingles Disease

News: Shingrix, the world’s best-selling shingles vaccine, will soon be available in India, according to GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals (GSK India).

The same virus that causes chickenpox, varicella-zoster, also causes shingles.

Anywhere in the human body can experience it.

The typical appearance is a single band of blisters encircling either the left or right side of your torso.

It cannot be transmitted from one person to another because it is not contagious.

As you age, your risk of developing shingles increases, and persons over 50 have the highest incidence rates.

Pain, burning, tingling, sensitivity to touch, etc. are symptoms.

It is possible to prevent shingles and associated consequences with a vaccine called Shingrix.

As a side effect of shingles, postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) is the most typical. In the regions where you had the shingles outbreak, it creates excruciating pain.

If the eyes are affected by shingles, vision loss may result. It might be either transitory or ongoing.

If you have shingles inside or close to your ear, you could experience issues with your hearing or balance.
